Best Hotel in Chalong Phuket – Villa Zolitude

Far from the noise and bustle of central Phuket, Villa Zolitude Resort & Spa was created for discerning guests who prefer privacy and spacious luxury. This incredible resort offers the most fantastic location for a romantic honeymoon or wedding. Here you can spend lazy days and romantic nights in one of the luxury pool villas and get pampered in their exotic Moroccan-inspired spa.

Location

This relaxing hideaway is located in Chalong, nestled on the forested mountainside with stunning panoramic views. I would highly recommend having some sort of transport (motorbike/car) to move around as there isn’t much to do in the surrounding area. However, don’t worry if you don’t, since the resort offers a free shuttle that goes to Nai Harn Beach and Central Festival Phuket Department Store. Phuket international airport is a 40-minute drive away, and all the main attractions are no more than a 30-minute drive.

Our Villa

Let me just start by saying how incredible our villa was, beautifully designed to complement the surrounding forest there were not only 1 but 2 floors. The first floor had a separate shower and toilet, and separating both areas, there was a bath in the middle of the room. The bed was one of the best features of this villa as it was super huge and incredibly comfortable – probably one of the comfiest beds we ever slept in! The room area is fitted with big long windows that open up to make the room airy. Each villa has its own amenities, a selection of creams, a range of mosquito repellents, sun hats, beach bags, bath robs, slippers and so on.

Downstairs we had a lounge room to relax and watch movies, an outdoor toilet, a shower, and a beautiful private infinity pool. Isn’t it the perfect swimming pool to enjoy a floating lunch with your loved one? Having a villa like this for our stay made it really difficult to leave the room.

Facilities

The resort offers door-to-door service, where a shuttle picks you up from your private villa and takes you anywhere you want to go around the hotel. There is a public infinity pool with a spectacular view, and the restaurant is right next door if you’re feeling peckish. The resort also offers room service where you can dine in your private villa, a Spa, a library and a gym. The reception has a selection of movies that you can rent out for free and take back to your villa for a cosy movie night.

Zense SPA

We also had the chance to experience Zense Spa, a serene sanctuary hidden in the forest where nature and tranquillity soothe the soul. You’ll feel instantly relaxed in the beautiful open-air treatment rooms with a cute view of lush gardens and a relaxing pond. I highly recommend their signature treatment as you’ll feel wonderfully refreshed and renewed from head to toe.

Bambu Restaurant

Most of our meals happened at Bambu restaurant, which offers a wide variety of Thai and Western options. The food was simply delicious, well prepared and very well presented. Regarding breakfast, they provided absolutely anything and everything you could think of eating: from hot porridge and freshly cooked eggs to cold fruit salad and desserts. They cater to everyone, from English breakfast to traditional Thai breakfast.

Veredict

Overall this resort offers a unique luxurious experience that we highly recommend for a honeymoon or wedding scene. We had an incredible time at Villa Zolitude and look forward to returning to this splice of heaven.
