During our stay we had a great time sunbathing around the stunning freshwater pool or chilling at the Purobeach Beach Club while enjoyng a live DJ set and drinking cocktails at the beach.
Our room had a floor to ceiling window overlooking the swimming pool and the beach and it was the perfect spot to enjoy the sunset after a full day discovering the hotel facilities and exploring the Marina.
The breakfast had a wide variety of options and was a true 5 star hotel experience. If you are a true meat lover, you can’t miss a dining experience at Pepper’s Steakhouse on the ground floor overlooking the Marina.

PortoBay Falésia was a truly pleasant surprise for us. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and the entire staff was professional and attentive to details. The hotel is located above the rust colored cliffs overlooking Praia da Falésia. Our room was facing the swimming pool and overlooking the beach so we had a truly lovely sunrise experience.
The buffet breakfast is server at Madeira restaurant and you have a lot of local and international options. We enjoyed one of our dinners at the same location while enjoying the live music by the swimming pool before heading out to explore the surroundings.
You can access the beach directly from the resort if you are not a pool person or if you feel like walking at the lovely Falésia’s Beach.
The hotel facilities consist of two restaurants, two bars, two pools, and wellness amenities that include a spa and fitness center, plus play areas for children.
The hotel provides extremely great value for the price and one of the best services we have ever experienced.

Belmar Resort is the perfect choice for those looking for a home away from home in Algarve. The luxurious apartments with all the amenities you may want are perfect for those who are not into the classic hotel room style and want to have a fully functional kitchen and living room separated from the bedroom area.
The resort overlooks the beautiful beach of Porto de Mós and is around 10 minutes away from the centre of Lagos if you want to explore the town. One of the highlights of the property for us was the adults swimming pool area where we could relax and enjoy the sunny days in Algarve. The breakfast is a mix of Buffet and a la carte service and the egg benedicts and the delicious pancakes completely conquered our hearts.
The resort grounds and facilities include multiple pools, a stylish spa, extensive fitness facilities that include soccer pitches, and an overall quiet atmosphere.
We stayed in one of the two bedroom apartments with view over the swimming pool and the beach and had a truly relaxing experience in a homely experience.

The hotel grounds are classy and with a Boho inspired vibe from the common areas to the rooms. The rooms are spacious and perfect to relax after exploring the town.
Offering an rooftop pool and views of the marina and sea, Lagos Avenida Hotel is set in Lagos city centre, within a 10-minute drive from Meia Praia Beach Lagos. We enjoyed the central location and our walks to the beach after some relaxing time at the rooftop swimming pool.
If you like to be walking distance from the local sights, this is a great choice and it’s also perfect for those who love long walks by the marina boardwalk.

If you are looking for a place where you don’t need to worry about anything except if you want to chill at the pool or by the beach, AP Adriana Beach resort might be the perfect match for your holidays. The hotel is located close to Falésia Beach in Albufeira and it’s apartment style rooms are perfect for couples or families. If you opt for the All inclusive option, you will be given a bracelet so you can take advantage of the buffet restaurant ( breakfast, lunch, dinner and morning and afternoon snacks) plus open bar where you can enjoy juices, wine, beer and cocktails all day long.
The swimming pool is huge and you will have plenty of activities all day long to keep you busy. If you have kids, there are also plenty of activies going on to keep your children busy and entertained. If for some reason you get tired of chilling by the pool, you are less than 5 minutes away from the beach.
Our experience at the Hotel as a couple without kids was great and we felt that this resort was perfect for those who love the all inclusive experience with top quality facilities and meals.

The Algarve is much more than loud bars and crowded beaches and Tavira is one of our top picks for a more local and less touristic experience in the region Locatedi n the top of the hill and walking distance from the city center, Maria Nova Lounge is our go to recommendation for a great Adults only experience in Algarve.
The buffet style breakfast was great with a huge variety of local and international products and with live Piano sessions to start the day with some great classic vibes.
The hotel is modern and with a great swimming pool area to relax after exploring the picturesque streets of Tavira. One of the highlights of the property was the views from the rooftop. On the 5th floor you have Nomad bar and restaurant where you can enjoy a cocktail or dine with some breahttaking views over Tavira and Gilão river. During our stay we paid a visit to the rooftop to enjoy a bottle of wine for sunset and since it’s an adults only hotel it was quite pleasant as a couple to not have kids around.
If you are still missing the beach, you are less than 15 minutes away from some beautiful and less crowded beaches than you would be in some of the most touristic areas in Algarve.
